What happens after you complete Oblivion Elder scrolls main quest?

I'm playing Oblivion Elder Scrolls on XBOX 360. I was just wondering if anyone knew if you can still do all the side quests after you finish the main quest? I'm close to the end, and I didn't want the game to just be over with after I finish the main quest. Is it like Fable/Fable 2 where you can keep playing after wards?What happens after you complete Oblivion Elder scrolls main quest?
Indeed you can. One of the great things about the Elder Scrolls games is that they're not traditional narratives, with a beginning and an end. The main quest is just one thing you can do (or not do - you can just ignore it if you choose!), so when you finish it the world continues and the side quests are still there. I'm actually playing that game right now for about the 12th time. I have never completed the main mission. I always skipped around it because I figured you couldn't play after you beat it. But this time I will definitely beat the main mission. Isn't there supposed to be a new one coming out next year or something? the game is endless when u finish the main quest u can still continue ding the side quests but when u finish the main quest u get a sweet reward its this amazing armor think its called imperial dragon armor oh and everyone loves u alot better cuz u no u kinda saved the world and all
yes you keep playing. Even if your finish everything 100%, you can go back and do as you wish.
