It depends on how old she is. If shes like a teenager, get her into twilight or harry potter.
if she's a little younger, get her into the series of unfortunate events
Love both games by the way.
There are Fanfiction books based on Oblivion! I don't know if they are any good but here is a link with some more info-

I am also a writer myself and am hoping for my fantasy novels to be published when i am done! But i would reccomend (as someone else said) abberhorsen (or something like that) part of a Sabriel series by Garth Nix.
Lord of the Rings
The Wheel of Time
Harry Potter (love them, though not generic fantasy, very very good)
Whatever you do don't let her read twiglight, it is NOT fantasy (unless fantasy is now REALLY boring)
hope it helps xxAre there any Fantasy books that have a setting/story like Elder Scrolls Games?
Try getting her to read some Harry Potter (if she hasn't already)
If she has, try getting her to read the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I read them last summer, and the last book in the fall. They are great fantasy books. Plus they are coming out with a movie about it soon as well, which could make it more interesting.
After harry potter and before Hunger Games, I was reading Twilight.
These are just some fantasy suggestions. I'm not exactly sure what she has read or what she likes.
Try Airborn by Kenneth Oppel too
Get her to try Harry Potter by JK Rowling
and also (all fantasy books)
Fablehaven by Brandon Mull
Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke
Eragon by Christopher Paolini
Maximum Ride by James Patterson
Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan
good luck (:Are there any Fantasy books that have a setting/story like Elder Scrolls Games?
Mistborn series is excellent and imaginative. So is the Abhorsen series.
