Khajiit, they're good at combat and they're also stealthy. I think that the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves guild were the two best factions, so being stealthy is good.
i was the dark elf my first way round stuck with her through everything, now on my second way round im a redguard and its going very well. i love these type of games im saving for "Two Worlds" now cannot wait to get it.What is your favoirite race in Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion?

I agree with the guy who picked khaajit (however you spell it).
I am a big fan of stealing and they're very stealthy and quick. As you progress, you can get any character to become very good... but my favorite starting character was the khaajit
