Elder scrolls skyrim colectors is it worth it?

Now before I start I have been playing elder scrolls since the first game so I'm a huge fan. I got oblivion collectors but that was only $10 extra but skyrim is $90 extra for a statue an artbook and map. What do u guys think is it worth it. Again i have been a fan since the beginning.Elder scrolls skyrim colectors is it worth it?
Only if you're a collector or you are treating it as an investment.



Example: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Collector's Edition was $80. A month after buying it, I put the Jack In The Box on ebay. The people bidding on it ended up driving it up to $130.
No, I don't recommend it. It would probably be a waste of money.

1. The statue is probably of fairly cheap quality. They couldn't afford anything fancy. You may find it cool at first, but chances are it'll end up being forgotten.

2. The artbook is redundant. It probably doesn't capture the best scenes from the game as well as the game itself does. Why would you look at a book when you can play a game?

3. The map is completely and utterly useless. Oblivion had a fantastic in-game map. If Skyrim's in-game map is as good, you'll never even think of referring to your collector's edition map.Elder scrolls skyrim colectors is it worth it?
For me...never.



But it's hard to advise someone else when your own opinion of things probably differs a lot. Those extra collectible things for me would only sit around and collect dust. I would look at them maybe 2 or 3 times and off they would go into a box somewhere. That isn't a valid reason for me to spend money on them.



However, if u are a die-hard collector and really enjoy those extra things, and if they bring u enjoyment on a regular basis, then maybe u should get them. Also, sometimes collectibles like that can be valuable many years later.



If u have extra money and the statue and stuff will give u enjoyment u feel is worth the money, then by all means get them.

Consider this: will you EVER look at the statue or the artbook again after you buy it? I can see how the map may be useful, but the other things are just pieces of junk. The manufacturers use tricks like this to get people to spend more money, you actually get very little extra.
No its not worth it. The only reason I would consider getting the collectors edition would be to get the map, but you could always buy that on ebay for less later.
personaly i wouldnt get it because it is a complete rip off to be honest, but if your a fan then you might want to consider it :)
Good game and good graphics, the game was worth it.. but 90 bucks for a statue and map?? Probably not..
