If im not good at rpgs should i still buy elder scrolls skyrim?

I quite elder scrolls oblivion 10 minutes into the game because i was confused on where to go and on the potion making and etc rpga seem difficult so much reading and options and very few linearityIf im not good at rpgs should i still buy elder scrolls skyrim?
why not both
Well id just like to say you can't get better at a game if you don't keep trying. But some games you just gotta get use to and they turn out to be a blast! Skyrim will be the same with a good balance of reading, action, and story telling. But remember it's a do whatever you want however you want game. You could just go around hacking at wolves for all anyone cares. It's yoir choice if you would like to give it a chance im just pointing out stuff to help you. Also, you read in every single game you play. Even COD. Some people complain about reading too much in RPGs but every like 1-5 seconds of COD you are reading so you know what's going on. So in every game you read whether its you k/d, a mission, who captured what, an objective, or subtitles you are reading. Just some there is just more to read than others. If im not good at rpgs should i still buy elder scrolls skyrim?
Skyrim and Oblivion are very non-linear games. If u have trouble with this type of game, u might not like Skyrim.

I almost quit Oblivion when I first got it also. I was 12 and I thought it was going to be all sewers and dungeons and that didn't appeal to me. But after u exit the sewers at the end of the tutorial quest, it becomes a totally different game. Maybe u just didn't give it enough of a chance.
Elders Scrolls games definitely aren't for the casual player, especially if they're not into RPGs. I think you give up a bit easy, but I used to be the same way. I wouldn't buy it though, it's basically the same thing as Oblivion. If im not good at rpgs should i still buy elder scrolls skyrim?
yeahhhhhh...ummmm... I wouldnt buy it. If you dont like RPG's dont play them. Stick to what you like. Skyrims going to be complex, but my fiance is a big elder scrolls fan. Hes really excited.
I wouldnt buy it. Skyrim is going to have the same gamestyle as Oblivion but more in-depth. But, if I were you, go buy or rent Fallout 3. Its more easier than Oblivion.
if the old elder scrolls confused you, then you probably should not get it.
